Our goal is to guide preteens spiritually, help them each individually in their developmental stage, and develop deep thinking and understanding of Biblical truths.

LESSON 1

A Time for Everything

Scripture: Ecclesiastes 3 : 1 - 8
Remember:
1. Stewardship of money, time, talents, and possessions helps others learn about God and Jesus
2. Learn how to use biblical principles to determine ways to use your time wisely
Golden Verse:
"Whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him."

LESSON 2

What are Spiritual Gifts?

Scripture: 1 Corinthians 12 : 4 - 11, 27 - 28
Remember:
1. God will help us know and use the spiritual gifts He gives us
2. Discover what spiritual gifts are and understand how to identify and use them

"We have different gifts, according to the grace given us."

LESSON 3

What is the Fruit of the Spirit?

Scripture: Galatians 5 : 16 - 21
Remember:
1. Take deliberate actions to grow in Christ-likeness; the Holy Spirit will help
2. Understand characteristics of a Spirit-filled life and strive to develop these traits in your own life

"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law."

LESSON 6

Obedience

Scripture: Acts 8 : 4 - 8; 26 - 40
Remember:
1. Jesus taught about faith, trust, and obedience to God
2. Trust that God will lead you in the right direction as you seek to obey His commands

Patience

2. Learn what it means to "wait upon the Lord"
3. Determine areas of impatience in your life
