BBS Teen Edition FAQ

Q: Is registration first come first serve?
Yes! However, we do filter by age and gender and will have an even amount of females and males and different age groups.

Q: What will my living arrangements look like?
A: All students will spend the first week at Elim and the rest of the school duration students will be housed at church.

Q: How will I be divided into a group?
A: You will be divided into groups to your age and gender. Every group will consist of about 6 students and 1 mentor who has been vetted and interviewed by several staff members.

Q: Will we be going home throughout Bible School?
A: No! The students will be on campus the whole duration of Teen Bible School. School will be from June 14th - July 3rd.

Q: Can my friend and I be put in the same group?
A: No, unfortunately we are not able to take any requests to be in the same group with your friends however we are sure you will make new friends and have a great time regardless!

Q: What do we bring?
  • Bible, Notebook (Pens, Pencils, Highlighters, etc…)
  • Hygiene products (Shampoo, Conditioner, Body Wash, toothpaste, toothbrush, combs, etc…)
  • Enough clothes for 3 weeks.
  • Gym Clothes (sweats, sweat pants, sweatshirt)
  • Running Shoes
  • Sleeping Bag/Blankets, Pillows, Mattress sheets (Optional)
  • One Church Outfit for Thursdays Youth and Sunday’s (skirts for girls)
  • Musical Instruments (If any)
  • SwimWear (No 2 piece bikinis for girls)
  • Sunscreen, Bug Spray & After Bite
  • Flashlight
  • Extra Cash 

Q: What language will the lectures be in?
A: All of the lectures will be taught in English.

Q: Do girls need to bring skirts?
A: Yes, you will need a skirt for Thursday, Youth Service, and Sunday, Main Service.

Q: What is covered in my tuition cost?
A: All food (breakfast, lunch, dinner), trips, transportation costs are included in the tuition.

Q: What will a typical day look like at Teen Bible School?
A: At the beginning of the day, you will have lectures for approximately 3 hours and the rest of the day will be filled with various activities, where you will be encouraged to get out of your comfort zone and experience something new. You will be able to participate in  activities like cooking, baking, woodworking, archery, and countless other sports as well as events like bonfires, movie nights, stargazing, and much more. Besides physical activities, you will have many opportunities to build a strong connection with Jesus through devotional time with your group, daily prayers, outreach activities, student-led services and your own personal time throughout the day.

Q: Do I get a discount if more than 1 person from my family goes to Teen Bible School?
A: Yes, for each additional sibling in the same family, you will get $100 off.

Q: Is my money refundable if I decide not to go to Teen Bible School?
A: The $100 deposit will not be refundable, but the remaining tuition will only be refundable until the first day of class. Once school starts, all payments are due and your money is no longer refundable. If for some reason you are kicked out of teen Bible School, you money will not be refundable.
